WolfP2P is a browser-based tool for live, direct file streaming between two computers. It streams file bytes as they are sent as part of a complete transfer, without requiring hosted storage, a persistent shared folder, or an installed transfer application.

Many transfer methods require an upload, an installed utility, a physical drive, persistent server configuration, or packaging a folder into an archive. WolfP2P exists to provide another option for the narrower case where two people are ready to move the files directly.

It is not cloud storage, backup, continuous synchronization, public file hosting, or an unattended transfer service. Those approaches remain better choices when recipients need later access, continuing availability, automation, or distribution.

WolfP2P favors direct delivery over creating a hosted file copy, deliberate participation over unattended access, and browser-mediated control over silent access to local files and destinations. It aims to expose meaningful transfer state and technical boundaries instead of hiding them behind a generic progress indicator.

These principles do not make WolfP2P the right method for every transfer. The product should state its network, browser, recovery, identity, and trust limitations clearly enough for people to choose another method when those boundaries do not fit.

The WolfP2P mark represents two equal peers communicating directly. Its mirrored forms meet in a central W and can also be read as two computers facing one another, with a signal between them. The mark expresses the product as a connection between peers rather than as a server or storage service placed in the middle.
